Windmark Insurance Agency utilizes company employees to market, generate and underwrite “direct” business. Windmark Crop Division provides wholesale marketing, processing and underwriting support to affiliated agencies in our direct and indirect marketing regions. The Windmark program encompasses 17 states supporting policyholders through 100+ agencies and over 150 agents. This allows for greater diversification and risk management through our underwriting and processing support. In addition, it allows for superior servicing and marketing support by our field marketing representatives. Windmark personnel and the affiliated agency force are professional and dedicated to providing and delivering a quality line of insurance products and related services to our customers.
Windmark is the primary key general agency for several approved insurance providers that administer the crop insurance program for the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC) and USDA Risk Management Agency (RMA). Our partnerships support our affiliated and direct agent force in their respective marketing areas and sales of the FCIC’s Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (MPCI) products (i.e., RP, YP, APH, etc.), livestock (i.e., LRP, MPP, LGM) and/or grazing/forage products (i.e., PRF, AF), as well as other private insurance products. Our partnership has been valuable to our agents and their customers, providing usable and affordable products that are tailored to producers’ respective operations, precise underwriting and superior claims service.
